S’mae, pawb. It’s nearly half way through February and we’re still struggling with getting back into some sort of routine. Our choir rehearsals vary from week-to-week now as we juggle joint rehearsals with two other choirs in the lead up to our 20th anniversary concert in St Asaph Cathedral in April. We’ve also been asked to sing at some local (and one not so local) funerals. The not so local one was so cold. I decided to leave my red coat in the car as I knew it would be warm in the church. Ha! How wrong can you be? It was freezing. We would normally sit in the choir stalls at the front of the church; this time we were put at the back of the church by the door. The weather has been bitterly cold over the last couple of weeks and I was right by the door. As we were leaving I decided that I needed to buy myself a black coat to wear on such occasions. I now have a black coat, a black handbag, and a new pair of black shoes. I don’t like wearing black, but it’s the colour of our choir uniform so the shoes will replace my slightly tatty old ones.
Hopefully, I can start getting into more of a routine for making my videos. I used to do them on a Sunday afternoon when Kevin was on the phone to his friend, Mick. But since Mick died Kevin has been at a loose end on Sunday afternoons. Still, there’s work going on in the loft in readiness for his model railway to go up there. He’ll soon be building his new layout up there and we can get back to normal. Hwyl am y tro!
