First Christmas cards of 2026

I finally started to make this year’s Christmas cards for folk at church. My friend, Margaret, had kindly made 40 for me and I ended up making 43 as I got carried away.

Margaret’s is the blue version. Oddly enough, although both cards were perportedly 5″x5″, Margaret’s measured 5 & 3/10, whilst mine were 4 & 9/10! I only had enough of the fancy red ribbon to do 23 of the cards, so the rest used a plain red, which you can see in the next pic.

I used the new Stampin’ Up!® Rejoice stamp set, and what I had left from last year’s SU Christmas papers. Margaret used SU’s Peaceful Nativity (retired). I have a video which will available today. Here’s the link: https://youtu.be/3HJUSwdU3R8.

I’ve now written in all of them and stuck the labels on. I will have some spare for visitors and folk who aren’t so regular. I won’t start handing them out until the end of November. Until then they’ll be squirrelled away at church as I haven’t got room to keep them all here. Hwyl am y tro!
