S’mae, pawb! This week’s video is the SU Expressions of Kindness kit. The artwork is stunning. They can easily be adapted for any type of card. The kit gives the options of a birthday card or ‘just a note’. There’s even a sentiment for the envelope saying, ‘kindly deliver to:’.
I’ve finally been able to make my American nephew’s graduation card. I had to order in the 12×12 cardstock, but had to wait till we got back from holiday to order it. I was invited to his graduation, but, A: it was just before our holiday to Guernsey and, B: the invitation didn’t arrive until after the event! (Also, C: it was in America!!) But I did see the photos on Facebook so I knew his school colours were purple and yellow. Assuming the twins will also graduate from the same school in 3 years, at least I can get their cards done beforehand. I got the idea from MayMay Made It. I’ve also made a few more of my Scrabble cards; one for a cousin who’s 60, one for a soon-to-be sister-in-law, and one for a friend who’s 70, although I can’t quite get my head around that. We’ve known him for nearly 40 years and he now lives in France with his lovely wife, and will be coming to visit us in September. We haven’t seen them since 2017, but he and Kevin have a long phone call every Sunday evening.
I think that’s about it from me for this week. Hwyl am y tro!
