Well, I managed to miss last week as I was busy cleaning in readiness for my first B&B guests since March. The dining room was filthy! Kevin had taken it over with his model railway layout during lockdown so he’d been sanding and drilling, and re-wiring. You won’t believe how many little bits of solder and coloured wire there were. The guests left on Monday and the next ones are coming on Sunday for 4 nights. Oh, it’s so good to be earning money again! (I let out 2 rooms under the Rent a Room scheme so don’t qualify for any Government handouts.)

This week I’ve actually started making some Christmas cards!! So this was my desk yesterday.

I’ve only done 9 (thought I’d done 10). I shall try to make some every week now. I’ve used the Joyful Holly stamp set from the new Autumn/Winter Stampin’ Up! catalogue. The background stamp is an old, retired SU stamp called Sheet Music. I shall be sending some of these off for a swap within my larger SU team.

I’m a bit late posting this today – I’ve been ‘sorting out’ my wardrobe! This basically means I’ve actually been hanging things up properly and folding stuff for the drawers instead of just putting the pile of clean clothes on top of last week’s pile of clean clothes on the bedroom chair!

The post has just arrived and my new tack lifter has arrived. I can now get on with re-upholstering the dining room chairs. I’ll try to remember to take pics as I go. Hwyl fawr am y tro!
