WOYWW 572

Ooops, I did it again! This was supposed to be the post for #570….

So, first of all, for those of you waiting with baited breath, here is the first set of scrubs that I made all those weeks ago:

My first set of scrubs using ‘proper’ material.
And the 2nd lot made from bedding. Yes, I know they look like pyjamas!

It would seem that I’ve also inadvertently completed Julia’s challenge to finish an old project. I had a couple of old Stampin’ Up! card kits that I’d never used so I’ve now made 36 cards to go with the scrubs when they’re handed out.

Stampin’ Up! card kits.

I also made a few bags from pillowcases and by the time this goes live I’ll have made some more from a duvet cover as we’ve been asked to make some for ambulance crews.

Bags made from pillowcases.

Just as I was sitting down to finish this off my pre-order from Stampin’ Up! arrived. As a demonstrator, I can order stuff before the new catalogue goes live on June 3rd. Very Versailles is carrying over from the current catalogue but the rest are all new.

Lovely new toys, I mean, resources!

Right, I need to get out for some exercise and deliver a couple of birthday cards. Hwyl fawr am y tro!

  14. What a heartwarming post, Camilla. I love the pretty patterned scrubs – who says they have to be plain? And to combine that with completing some UFOs in the form of making such gorgeous cards to accompany the scrubs – people are going to be so blessed and encouraged! It’s just great.

  20. Well done on making the scrubs and suck a lovely idea to send cards as well. A lovely lot of new stash and its great you can get them first,

Take care and stay safe. and thank you for making the scrubs

  21. Sorry I’m late! Well, 570 or 572, no doubt the scrubs have been well received; they look great and I don’t think anyone would think twice about some looking like PJS! The card kit yields a lot of cards doesn’t it, that must have been good value, and how nice that you can have them stashed ready, there’s been a big demand for thank you and gratitude type cards hasn’t there. Nice. Be a good girl then and play with your new ‘resources’, it’s always nice to see samples of the stuff I might need!!
