Love is in the air this week. With Valentine’s Day being next week I thought I’d make a card for Kevin. And it was a good excuse to use some of my new Stampin’ Up! stash.
I started by making the hanging hearts. I cut Real Red card and folded it then used the punches from the From My Heart suite to create a small, heart-shaped card.
I punched some Whisper White card and stamped different sentiments inside. I did 4 of them in English and the centre one in Welsh. I punched the corresponding hearts for the front of each one from the matching DSP. Then I attached the matching ribbon to the back with a loop at the top for hanging. I folded it up and put it inside one of the matching heart foil tins and decorated the lid in the same way. The card was from an idea I saw on Pinterest from another Stampin’ Up! Demo’s blog, Scrapping, Stamping, and Stuff.
That’s it from me. Hopefully I’ll get time this week to look at some of the other WOYWW blogs. Hwyl fawr!
SU definitely has a style doesn’t it, how nicely those text images have stamped. I hope Kevin is a grateful recipient!
These are so gorgeous, what a lucky man he is. Wishing you a happy crafty woyww, Angela x12x
