Stampin’ Up! Layered Landscapes Kit

S’mae, pawb! This week I’ve done the Layered Landscapes kit, which makes 4 lovely 6×6 pictures that fit into the accompanying 7×7 frames. They’re very simple, but very effective. the top two are definitely going in the guest bedrooms. Not sure what I’ll do with the other two yet.

I’ve also been playing with some of my embossing folders, which will act as backgrounds for some of my Christmas cards this year. As I was rootling through them, I realised that all but 2 of my SU embossing folders are no longer available! I wanted to see which ones I preferred as backgrounds.

The only one that didn’t really work was the Subtle folder. A tad too subtle, methinks. Maybe it just needed another shim to give it a bit more depth. The Dots, and the Swirls folders are donkey’s years old and were the first ones I ever bought.

Those of you who’ve been following me for a while may remember the spice rack that Kevin made me with his 3-D printer. Well, he made a few extras and I got some printable vinyl and redid the labels with a nice font. This is what it looks like now:

As you can see, I miscalculated how many jars I had so the last 3 have to stand at the side as the gap isn’t wide enough for another jar holder. The Fajita Spices are made up using some of the other spices. We love making our own fajitas; we’re having some tonight. Kevin has sliced the chicken for me (a job I hate) but I’ve realised we’ve no peppers so he’ll get some on his lunchtime walk. We’ve got some wholemeal wraps for a change. I did the last 2 lots in the air fryer, but I think I’ll do tonight’s in the wok for a change.

Hwyl am y tro!
