S’mae, pawb, I’m doing the Hooray for Honeycomb kit this week. I’m still not sure about one of the cards as I can’t see how it will fit into the envelope. Hey, ho!
I started preparing for the craft stall I had at church over the Bank Holiday weekend. I cleaned the bottles I got from our local Penderyn distillery, along with some of the ones I got from Aber Falls distillery at Abergwyngregyn. Anyone walking past our house must have wondered what was going on, I had so many bottles! I’d ordered new bottle lights, extra batteries, and some new bottle bags. This is what my dining room looked like:
And this was the draining board in the kitchen:
Unfortunately, I knocked one of those bottles and it smashed on our red quarry tile floor. It’s amazing how far glass goes when it breaks!! Here are some pics from the actual day:
We had a lovely day. One of the helpers provided us all with lunch. I didn’t sell much, but Kevin enjoyed talking trains all day. I think we raised over £400 for Christian Hope Uganda (CHU), the charity we support. We were able to set everything up on Friday, and it didn’t take too long to decamp the trains, especially as we now have 2 cars. I left my stall up and went in yesterday to bring it all home. It’s all sitting in the dining room now waiting for me to put it all back. A job for tomorrow. Hwyl am y tro!
