Nadolig Llawen a Blwyddyn Newydd Dda

Well, the last few weeks have been so busy I haven’t had time to do any blogs or videos. This week is no different! I was going to squeeze in a quick video this morning, but technology has conspired against me. I need to replace my SD cards as my pc says they’re corrupted and even the camcorder said, ‘check card’. I give up!

I just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas whilst I have some time. I was going to show a last-minute Christmas card idea but, instead, I will just give you the link to the lady that inspired me: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HaEfUl_IEeY

I don’t watch many American YouTubers, but this lady (and sidekicks) is lovely. Below is a picture of 2 of the cards I made using her ideas. I used various other ideas for the ‘bauble’ on other cards but never thought to take any photos.

Some other cards I made use some mirror card and an SU die (shortly to retire) called Tiny Trees. I cut some mirror card and stuck it on the front of the card and placed the die cut cardstock over the top, lifting it with dimensionals. Simple, but effective.

My last pic is my wreath. I managed to get to a wreath making session in Llansan Sior, near Abergele. It was organised by Shona, the daughter of my late friend, Marian, in aid of Hosbis Dewi Sant, where Marian died. I didn’t know Shona, but I know her brother and his wife.

I added the bow and bells a few days afterwards. I was going to show the before and after pics, but my pc is playing silly beggars again.

Well, I’m afraid my washing machine and tumble dryer are calling, along with a myriad other things. Once I’ve sorted my technical problems, I’ll be back in the video saddle again in the new year. Hwyl am y tro!
