I’m typing this up on Tuesday as I shall be busy in the morning. My desk shows my Badge-It machine and some badges I’ve made for tomorrow.

Making name badges.

Tomorrow, our church is starting up ‘Tea & Toast (and a listening ear)’. We will be open for people to come in and have a cuppa in a calm, safe place where they can talk over any problems they have. I’ve made name badges for those of us running it.

I’ve had this machine for a couple of years, at least, and never used it until today. I got it from a local charity shop and it had some blanks inside. I have 3″ & 4″ round ones and some rectangular ones. I cannot get the rectangular ones to work! I shall ignore those and stick with the round ones. I shall have to trawl Ebay to see if I can get any more blanks.

The other thing I need to do today is clean my two letting rooms and make the beds. I’ve got my first paying guests of the year coming at the weekend. I’ve also put in a Stampin’ Up! order so, hopefully, I’ll be able to show you what I’ve got next time. Hwyl fawr!

  1. Sounds like you are super busy … and what a lovely thing for your church to offer. People are so in need of a friendly smile and support. The badge maker made me smile.
