WOYWW 547

I was in the Lake District last week so couldn’t participate but I’m back now, and raring to go! This week’s desk shows me in the midst of die-cutting a lantern. On Monday, Margaret Wright (Glitter and Glue) and I, along with another lady from church, started making lanterns and gift boxes for Step Inside. The lanterns will adorn the tables on the Thursday before Christmas, and every customer will receive a small gift (hopefully, Margaret will show the gift boxes on her blog).

One lantern made up, but minus the ribbon.

I’ve borrowed Margaret’s die set so I can finish the lanterns at home this week.

I’ve also made a start on punching out Christmas trees for this year’s Christmas cards. I’m using the Stampin’ Up! Perfectly Plaid stamps, punch, and papers this year.

I need to crack on with the lanterns and I’ll be doing my online Welsh lessons at the same time. This should be my last week but, due to illness and being away, I’m 3 weeks behind. Hwyl fawr!

  2. Hi Cam. Yes, I did! I’ve managed to make a further10 boxes so far. When done with all these visits I hope to make a few more before doing the giant casseroles for step inside:-) Glad you are going to use that tree punch – it’s gorgeous.
    Take care. God bless.

  3. That must be the fanciest Big Shot I’ve seen! Mine’s just plain, but does the job just the same! Lovely lanterns – I don’t think I’ve seen that die before either! Happy WOYWW! zsuzsa #20
