Still a work in progress!

I’m sure it’s because I’m getting older; decorating seems to take much longer than anticipated these days. I seem to have been doing decorating of some sort for months now, although I believe it’s only been about 3 weeks.

I had to leave my craft room after I finally got all the wallpaper off as I needed to work on the new en suite in our guest bedroom. I will be putting the final touches of paint on tomorrow and the flooring will be laid on Wednesday. I say the final touches of paint, but I still have some skirting and picture rails to do in the bedroom itself, and the en suite door. I did manage to get some lining paper up in my craft room this afternoon – just the bit above the door and down the side. I struggled a bit with the paper around the light switch.

Pasting table all ready for putting lining paper up.

I will be putting more paper up tomorrow, hopefully. Then I will have to paint that, too! Got a lovely green colour called Mint Macaroon, which I keep calling Mint Macaron like the Stampin’ Up! ink pad. I will be so glad to get my stuff back in here and be able to craft again. Everything’s in the dining room at present, which means we can’t use that room either!

As you can see, it’s choc-a-block! There’s more stuff piled on the sofa in the bay window and there’s a worktop and a box containing underlay behind me. I’ll give another update when it’s all painted. Hwyl am y tro!
